We recommend to order the collection kit amply in advance of the expected due date!

Cryo-Save will send the kit to your home address and it contains all the necessary medical equipment for collecting the blood and the relevant documents.
The bill for advance payment of € 150 and any transport supplements will be sent separately
Preparation

Inform your doctor or midwife in advance that you wish to collect the umbilical cord blood when the baby has been delivered. If necessary we can organise instruction and demonstration at the medical center for their staff, if they are new to the procedure.

We would ask you to sign one copy of the attached agreement.
Collection and shipment
6.
Immediately after the delivery, your doctor or midwife will collect the umbilical cord blood according to the attached instructions. It is very simple.
7.
You will then prepare the shipment and include all the necessary documentation.
8.
At this point you should contact the courier company (see the sending procedure enclosed in your collection kit)
9.
The courier service will pick up the cord blood sample as soon as possible.
Laboratory
10.
After performing a quality control, the precious stem cells will be isolated from the blood, and cryo-preserved.
Administration
11.
You will by notified in writing about how the storage procedure went
12.
If all is well, you will then be invoiced for the remaining amount.
13.
After having received your payment and all necessary documents, you will be sent your storage certificate.
Requests for transplantation
14.
We will request a copy of your storage certificate and a confirmation in writing by the doctor or physician who is to perform the transplantation.
15.
We will then send the stem cells immediately by courier.
