Price

Ask your insurance company whether your policy covers the fee (or a part thereof) for collecting stem cells.

Cryo-Save

The cost of the Cryo-Save service is € 1985 for collection, transport, processing of cord blood and stem cell storage for the first 20 years. This works out to roughly € 8,30 per month and can be broken down as follows:

  • After your order is received, a deposit of € 210 is required. If you should decide not to continue with the stem cell storage arrangement, this is all you will have to pay. If you return the collection kit unopened within ten days of your order (at your own expense), this € 210 deposit will be refunded.

  • After the birth and successful stem cell storage, you will be invoiced for € 1775. If the stem cell storage is not successful, the only cost will be the initial deposit of € 210.

  • For twin births, you are entitled to a 50% reduction on the storage of the stem cells of your second child.

After the first 20 years, it is possible to extend the contract, thereby storing the stem cells for another 20 years. The cost of extending the agreement for a further 20 years is € 795 (plus correction for inflation). This works out to roughly € 3,30 per month (plus correction for inflation).

There are no extra costs for releasing the stem cells, upon request by the treating doctor, and dispatching them to the place of treatment within Europe.
