| Cryo-Save originally offered one storage service only. This is our private /family cord blood storage service, CryoCord. The main advantage for storing cord blood privately is that the donors retain control of the sample and are able to use their own sample, should they need it. Their cells are autologous, which means there is hardly any risk of rejection.

| | to both separate the white blood cell fraction containing the stem cells and split the product and storing it at two physically separated locations. Both steps are extremely important from an efficiency and safety perspective.
All samples are tested for infections, whether bacterial or viral, using a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) diagnostic.
