Our process
Well before the expected date of delivery:

Contact Cryo-Save office and state that you are interested in banking the umbilical cord blood stem cells.

Complete the registration form/agreement and payment formalities as advised by the Cryo-save office.

Will send a complete collection kit box with all necessary instructions and a client ID number will be allocated.

Take the collection kit box along with you to the nursing home/hospital and hand over the kit box to the personnel carrying out the collection.

Collection of the Umbilical cord blood.

Stick the barcode label on the blood bag, complete the identification form and prepare the kit box for dispatch.

Contact the courier company according to the enclosed sending procedure. The courier will pick up the blood and take it to the laboratory.

Inform Cryo-Save that the courier has been sent.

Testing and processing of the umbilical cord blood, followed by the cryo-preservation of stem cells in the laboratory.

You will receive a telephonic confirmation followed by email on the status of the sample within 48 hours.

After 4 weeks

When all costs have been paid, you will receive a certificate concerning the storage of the stem cells of your child.

After the agreed storage period, your (now grown up) child may extend the agreement themselves. |
