Blood Testing
When processing cord blood, we subject it to a number of tests. We examine whether there is any infection or contamination, routinely checking for HIV, CMV, Lues, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. Afterwards, we check the vitality of the stem cells and only when these tests have been completed satisfactorily, do we proceed to storage.
